Course Overview

The course is aimed at those with no previous knowledge of the target language. It is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, staff and members of the public.

Who is this class for?

French Beginner is the first exposure to the language, allowing you to start to communicate.

Course Content

The course has two key aims. The first is to equip you with the necessary language skills to enable you to communicate with French speakers, or to make the most of time spent in a Francophone country. The second is to facilitate the acquisition of grammatical structures in French, which will enable you to build on your skills through more in-depth study later on.
